Bryan Schneck

Mr. Schneck received his Bachelors of Science in Education degree in 1990 from Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. He finished his Masters in Science Education at ICR in Santee, California in 2002. From 1990 to 2004 he served in Antigua, West Indies in various capacities as teacher, staff minister and headmaster, and in 2004 accepted the Lord's and the congregation's call to serve at Faith Lutheran. He enjoys music and science, and is looking forward to his new ministry at Faith Lutheran. |
Tom Zarnstorff
5th & 6th Grades
Mr. Zarnstorff graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College of New Ulm, Minnesota in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Education. He first served in Caledonia, Wisconsin teaching fifth and sixth grade. Faith Lutheran Church called him to come to Alaska to teach third and fourth grade. In 1988, the congregation called him to be the principal of the school. At present he is teaching fifth and sixth grades. He is also active in coaching basketball and volleyball, assisting with track and field, and singing in the choir. He enjoys working with the students and sharing the treasures of God's Word with them. |
Kelly Salzwedel
3rd & 4th Grade
Mrs. Salzwedel attended Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota for the greater share of her college career and finished her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education through Peru State College in Nebraska. She is certified through Nebraska, Alaska, and the Wisconsin Synod. She has substituted in grades K through 8 and tutored remedial and gifted children at Sylvan Learning Centers. Mrs. Salzwedel looks forward to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the 3rd and 4th grade students of Faith Lutheran for many years to come. |
Cindy Zarnstorff
1st & 2nd Grades
Cindy Zarnstorff grew up near Pierce, Nebraska. She attended Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, Minnesota. In 1978, she received a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and a Divine Call to teach at Faith Lutheran School. Reading, singing, and memorizing are some important goals she has for her first and second graders because these are vital ways that all can learn and share God's Word. Cindy also serves our congrigation as an accompanist.

Deanna Schneck
Kindergarden
Deanna Schneck graduated from Dr. Martin Luther College in May 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In June 1990, she married Bryan Schneck and in July 1990, moved to Antigua, West Indies. While there, she directed Junior Choir and substitute taught. In 2004, she moved with her family to Anchorage, AK. In 2005, she accepted the call to be kindergarten teacher at Faith Lutheran School. She enjoys music and being with her family. The cold weather and especially the winter driving is taking some getting used to. |

Becky Mueller
Before School Care
Becky Mueller earned her BS in education at Dr. Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN. After graduation, she served as a Tutor Watertown, WI for 2 years, teaching English and Geography and directing Chidren's Theater. She later served as 6th grade teacher in Hartford, WI. The Lord led her to accept a call back to the highschool level, teaching 9th, 11th, and 12th grade English, coaching basketball and track, and assisting with forensics for four years. She and her husband, Pastor Stephen Mueller, served missions in Colombia and the Dominican Republic. She and her family moved to Anchorage in July of 2002. |
